<a href="http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;ja;418126&Product=ieJPN">Content-Disposition: attachment でファイルをダウンロードするとフレームが更新されなくなる</a>

ハマリました。。IE5.5でだけ発生するんだもの。。
Content-Dispositionを使ってファイルを保存したあとに、別フレームを更新するリンクをクリックしても、フレームが更新されません。
